4 BAR MAP SENSOR (X3) – MCLAREN 3.8L & 4.0L

A set of three genuine Bosch Motorsport 4 Bar Map Sensors for the McLaren 3.8L & 4.0L Engine.

We recommend this map sensor kit on all Stage 3 cars running a turbo upgrade. These map sensors allow the ECU to measure boost pressures up to 4 BAR (absolute) whilst maintaining accurate vacuum readings when the engine is on overrun/idle and provides the ECU with the correct Intake Air Temperature readings. The stock map sensors can only read up to 3 BAR (absolute) of pressure.

Please note, the software on the Engine will need to be adjusted to run this map sensor kit.
